Our Mutual Friend

The Dublin Castle, NW1 7AN , [Venue Details]

Our Mutual Friend is a regular night of the best new alternative music in the whole damn land.

Thursday,
26 Mar 2026
@7.00pm

Djank:

Glitchy, psychy, folky excellence through complex soundscapes filtered through the pop prism with plenty of urgency.

Little Grandad:

Imagine if Pavement overdosed on Music From The Big Pink and added a brass section to their knotty brand of alt rock and you get a semblance of this exciting young band that are the talk of the town.

Elwell:

One of the UK’s most exciting young bands, channelling the noise and ferocity of Unwound, Polvo et al, filtered through Midwest emo and circling the British jangling guitar dots. Tick, tick, tick. Leeds, hey – what’s in the water up there?

Contrail:

Delicate, ethereal alternative by way of ‘Dragging a Dead Deer’ period Grouper, from the great city of Leeds. Music with tenderness and emotion.
